International Students
The International Student Track at New Word Alive 2010 gathered together over 140 students from more than 30 different countries! We are pleased to be back in 2011, once again in partnership with Friends International and OMF Diaspora ministries. International students can take part in all that the wider New Word Alive conference offers - and more!
Network - with other students from your home country at New Word Alive.
Grow - as we are taught and reflect together on the Bible in small groups.
Worship - with many nations, in different languages and styles.
Be equipped - to serve God in your home country, as we consider how his Word applies in our different contexts.
Small groups are in a variety of languages, and there are also groups for those who are not Christians but are looking in to the Christian faith.
Student Discounted Place
Limited places available for £105 - first come, first served! Student discounts will be available for UCCF Student Card members. Simply quote your student card number when booking. To apply for your free UCCF Student Card visit www.uccf.org.uk/studentcard.
International Student Bursary
A subsidy of £20 is available to students who are resident outside of the UK, but who are presently studying in this country. The subsidy has the following aims:
- It is for those who would find attending New Word Alive difficult financially without a bursary. - It is for those who intend to participate in the international student track while at New Word Alive.
- Given these first two requirements only individuals can apply for the bursary. We do not accept group applications. Please note that the bursary is limited and is granted on a first come, first served basis.
To apply for the International Student Bursary:
1) Download a copy of the E11 application form for the International Student Bursary from our website. Or ask the New Word Alive office to send you an application form. You can do this by email on enquiries@newwordalive.org or by phone on 020 7407 5863. Download E11 Form
2) Complete the E11 application form and send it, along with a photocopy of your passport, to the New Word Alive office.
3) New Word Alive will then contact you by email to confirm you have the bursary, or to let you know the bursary is no longer available.
4) If you have been granted the bursary New Word Alive will transfer £20 into your bank account by 12th January 2011 when final fees are due for attending our event.
We do hope and pray all international students attending New Word Alive in 2011 will benefit enormously from their time at the event.
