Speakers
David Cook
David is Principal of Sydney Missionary and Bible College (SMBC) and Director of the SMBC School of Preaching. He is a regular speaker at Christian conventions throughout Australia and overseas and lectures in preaching and pastoral subjects at SMBC. David has authored and contributed to several books on preaching. He is married to Maxine and they have fi ve adult children and eleven grandchildren. His interests include good coffee, rugby (both kinds) and cricket.
Carl Trueman
Carl studied at Cambridge University (MA in Classics) and then Aberdeen University (PhD in Church History). He then served on the faculty at the universities of Nottingham and Aberdeen. Presently he is the Professor of Historical Theology and Church History, and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. He is also an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Carl is married to Catriona, and has two sons, John and Peter. His hobbies include distance running and chess.
Ben Kwashi
Ben is Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Jos and Archbishop of the Ecclesiastical Province of Jos in the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion). He and his wife, Gloria, live in Jos, Plateau State, in Northern Nigeria. They have six children, three of whom are away from home studying at university or polytechnic. After ordination and marriage they served in a variety of rural and urban parishes and settings in northern Nigeria. In 1990 Ben was appointed Rector of St. Francis of Assisi Theological College and then in 1992 he was called to be Bishop of Jos.
Mike Reeves
Mike is the Theological Advisor for UCCF and oversees the award-winning website, Theology Network. He is the author of books such as The Unquenchable Flame: Introducing the Reformation and The Breeze of the Centuries. Having served at All Souls Langham Place, Mike is now part of a church in Banbury where he and his wife Bethan live with their two daughters.
