Making Faces (Saturday night)

MakeFace

Making Faces are back after sufficiently gratifying the NWA crowd last year with their blend of sketches, poetry and music. The trio of Dan Curtis, Lizzie Kevan and Ed Mayhew run FACELIFT, a monthly comedy night that has played host to Pappys (E4), Holly Burn (The Times Top 5 comedians to watch) and Jigsaw (BBC3s Live at the Electric). Steph Macleod (Monday night)

If you were at New Word Alive last year there is a high chance you will remember Steph Macleod. Steph is a talented singer/songwriter who exudes the reality of Christ in his music. Think John Martyn, Ray Lamontagne and add some Scottishness to the sound and you are presented with the earthly sound of Steph Macleod.

Yvonne Lyon (Tuesday night)

Singer-songwriter Yvonne Lyon is among the best and brightest emerging talent currently from Scotland and is rising name across the UK. Yvonne has shared the stage with the likes of Patti Griffin, Karine Polwart, Luka Bloom, Steve Forbert and toured the UK with Juliet Turner.
In 2009 Yvonne won the Burnsong International Songwriting Competition and sung her winning song All Is Not Lost at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. She has enjoyed television appearances on BBC 1 and BBC Alba. Yvonne has also had the privilege of two sessions and interviews with Bob Harris playing three songs live on a BBC Radio 2. Rael James Mason (Wednesday night)

RaelMason

Rael is a performance poet based in the North West of England. After studying journalism at university, he now works as a freelance writer in Liverpool. Rael also works part time with a creative arts charity who use the performance arts to engage young people on issues of self-worth and identity, and seek to bring the hope of the gospel wherever they can.
