What is the International Student Track?

• An exciting opportunity to meet with other international students from all over the UK

• Designed to help us think about how we can live with Jesus as our Lord – now and when we return to our home countries (or wherever God takes us!)

Who is it for?

• The track is designed for Christian international students and provides a great time of teaching and discipleship – it is definitely not a basics course

• All international students are welcome! If you are not a Christian, or you are still exploring, you are very welcome too. There are special groups designed especially for you (in Chinese and in English)

What happens at the track?

We meet every afternoon (Sun to Wed) and each day includes:

• Main meeting with Bible teaching in English and worship from around the world

• Small Groups – time to think about applying the teaching to our own culture. These will be with others from a similar background and language

This year our speaker is Peter Rowan (National Director of OMF UK) and the talks are all from Matthew's Gospel:

• Day 1 - Matthew 1:1-17. God's Story, God's People, God's Mission

• Day 2 - Matthew 9:1-34. The Man who brings life

• Day 3 - Matthew 9:38-10:39. A Survival Guide for a Returnee

• Day 4 - Matthew 11:20-30, The Unique and Universal Jesus

Will I be able to attend other meetings in the conference?

Yes! We only meet in the afternoon and so you are free to attend all the other meetings and events in the conference during the morning and in the evening.

International Student Bursary

A bursary is available to help international students come to New Word Alive 2012. More details are available...
