UPDATE: 23rd March 2012 - Our team is now full for the 2012 event and we are no longer accepting applications.

New Word Alive is dependent on many godly and servant hearted team members who volunteer each year to enable the event to run successfully.

Which teams need volunteers in 2012?

There are a number of different areas that you could serve in each year at New Word Alive:

• Children's Team (0-5's, 5-7's, and 8-11's)
• Youth Team (11-14's and 14-18's)
• Administration
• Technical
• Stewarding

How do I apply?

As of 30th September 2011 we are accepting applications for the New Word Alive 2012 team. If you would like to be considered for the 2012 event then please submit an E2 Team Application Form. The application form is available in two formats:

1. An online form that submits your details to us directly.

2. A downloadable pdf form that can be filled in and posted to the office.

Each year we invite the team from the previous year's event first and then, as responses come back to the office, we can see where there are spaces in the team for the coming event. Please note we must wait for responses from last year's team, and as this can take up to several months we cannot confirm whether your application is successful immediately. We will however keep you informed and answer any questions you have on the progress of your application.

What is it like being on team?

Team members receive accommodation and food during the event. Travel expenses can also be claimed (up to £100). You will work in a team with an experienced team leader who will be your first point of contact throughout the event. More details will follow once we receive your application form. What is my motivation?

It should go without saying that being on team is not just a free way to get into the event, but a genuine chance to serve the Lord Jesus alongside other Christians. There will be some free time and there can be opportunities to attend sessions in the programme during the event, but these will be directed by your team leaders depending on each teams duties. Volunteers return year after year so we hope we get a good balance of both serving and attending the event.
