January update - extra units available

It's never too late to be changed, equipped and encouraged!
We're delighted to announce that there is still space at this year's New Word Alive, 13th - 18th April 2010.
We have a wonderful programme lined up that promises to bring great teaching and relevant training, as well as a high quality children's and youth work.
Extra On-Site Units
Having been ‘sold out' on-site, we now have some units available for you to join us at this year's event. Our bookings line will reopen at 9am on 27th January 2010. Call Haven on 0871 2301911 to make your booking.
Event Passes
If you prefer you could stay in local off-site accommodation that you book yourself, and then buy event passes which gives you full access to the NWA programme as well as the Haven facilities on our site. B&B prices start from £25 and a self catering cottage from £400 for 6 people. Many have found this to be a great way to combine an inspiring event with a relaxing holiday. More information, including a list of local accommodation, and how to book your event passes are available.
On-line Forum
We have just launched an on-line forum on our website, which allows you to contact other guests who are coming to or who are interested in New Word Alive. For instance, the forum can be used to advertise or ask for spare accommodation. That way the empty room in your caravan will be used and others are able to attend the event and you share the cost. Similarly you can request or offer help with travel, give tips for getting the most out of the event, share advice on how to organise a group and so on. Visit the forum.
Lastly one reminder,
Occupancy Information
Haven also need to know your occupancy information - the names and ages of those in your units. That information is a great help to us as well, as it allows us to know how many children are coming and so how many helpers we need and so on. So please do pass it on to Haven when you make your final payment. We will send out an update next month giving more detailed information about the programme so you are able to start thinking about what you might attend at the event and how God might change you this year.

NWA website Forums launched

What are the Forums?
We have just launched the on-line Forums on the New Word Alive website, which allow you to contact other guests who are coming to the event. We have had an equivalent of forums on Facebook, but not everyone is a Facebook fan. The new Forums allow anyone to access and post messages and all from within our own website.
What can I use them for?
One way the Forums can be used is to advertise or ask for spare accommodation. That way the empty room in your chalet can be filled and others are able to attend the event and you share the cost. Or you can request or offer help with travel, give tips for getting the most out of the event, share advice on how to organise a group and so on. Check the categories for other ways to use the Forums.
How do I use them?
You can view the Forums without a login, but to post a message you will need to register. It is a separate password from the one you use to buy event passes or media. It should only take a moment or two to register. All you need to do is enter an email, a username, and a password and you will be ready to start posting.

November accommodation update

Off-site accommodation
Event Passes: Plenty available
Perhaps the easiest way to be at New Word Alive in 2010 at this stage is by buying Event Passes and coming onto the site at Pwhelli. Event Passes can be bought by cheque with a booking form or by card through our secure online shop and you can choose where you want to stay locally. A comprehensive list of possible options is available. There is no shortage of event passes. Find out more..

On-site accommodation
Apartments and Caravans: Limited availability
While our initial accommodation on-site is now full Haven are operating a waiting list. Periodically accommodation units will become available either through extra units being released for sale or through cancellations. If you want to join the waiting list send this email to Haven.
Touring Pitches: Plenty available
Possibly the cheapest option available now is a touring pitch on-site. If you have a touring caravan or want to camp this option is well worth looking at. This year you can also buy your Event Pass direct from Haven at the same time as booking your touring pitich making it even easier. Find out more...

September accommodation update

Onsite accommodation (apartments and caravans) for the New Word Alive 2010 event is now fully booked.
However it is not too late to join us! If you have not booked yet there are still two ways to be there:
1.On-site accommodation: waiting list
Accommodation units on-site will become available either due to cancellations of present bookings or through site owners Haven making more units available.
If you want to be on-site we would therefore strongly recommend you email Haven at events@haven.com and place your name on the waiting list. Haven will then contact you at the end of October to let you know when more units are available.
There are also still touring pitches available onsite for camping and caravans. More details on booking touring pitches are available here.
2.Off-site accommodation: event passes
You can still book off-site accommodation at a local guest house or cottage and enjoy the full New Word Alive programme onsite using event passes.
A comprehensive list of local accommodation is available and more details on both day and event passes can be viewed here.
Event Passes are now available for purchase from our online shop.

Camping and caravan pitches now available

You can now book touring pitches on site for the event next year (13-18th April 2010). Touring pitches allow you to stay on site in a touring caravan or camp in a tent. You will also need to purchase an event pass for each person to enable you to have full access to the New Word Alive programme. This year both the pitches and the event passes can be bought at the same time through the booking line.
How to book:
1.	Check the dimension of your tent or caravan to ensure you book the best size. There are two sizes:
•	Regular - 6m x 7m (price is £96)
•	Large - 7m x 9.5m (price is £112)

2.	Call the booking line: 0871 230 1911 and press option 4. Book the appropriate pitch for your group.
Opening hours are between 9am - 7pm Monday - Friday and 9am - 4pm Saturday.

3. On the same call purchase the event passes for your group (maximum 6 per pitch). Event pass prices are:
•	£100 per adult (over 16 years old)
•	£50 per child (3-16 years old)
•	Infants (0-2 years old) enter free of charge
As with all guests staying on site Haven will need to know the number of guests in your group. If there is a need to add anyone else to your group at a later date you will need to contact Haven through the booking line and add the passes onto your booking.

New Word Alive Media

Almost all the talks from the event are now available to download from our website at www.newwordalive.org/shop. For those who were there, this is a great opportunity to listen again to talks that you enjoyed and want to be reminded of, or listen to talks that you couldn't go to at the event but had heard were good.
For those who weren't there, this is your chance not to miss out!
Alternatively, why not buy some talks on CD or DVD to give to friends who couldn't go, or send to missionaries abroad? Share the great teaching with others. Some people have asked about using the recordings or DVDs of Bible readings in their small groups or Churches. We think this is a great idea and so please feel free!
The Question and Answer session with Don Carson from Week 1 and the Richard Cunningham's Evening Celebration from Week 2 are both available for free.
Mike Reeves's talks on being Right with God have proven very popular, as have the Bible readings on 1 Corinthians (Vaughan Roberts) and Jonah (Liam Golligher). Terry Virgo's talks on God's Lavish Grace and Graham Beynon's talks on The Shape of Things to Come are also available.
Visit www.newwordalive.org/shop to download a talk on mp3 for £1, or buy the CDs for £3.50, or DVDs for £7.

Event Passes Now On Sale

If you choose to book your own accommodation "off-site" for New Word Alive then you will need to purchase an event pass. Event passes give you access to the full New Word Alive programme as well as the Haven facilities on site, such as the swimming pool.
Adults: £85
Age 3 - 16: £40 (age at time of the event)
Age 2 and under: free
You might like to know that there is plenty of on-site accommodation available and you will probably find this to be a cheaper and more convenient alternative. Local self catering accommodation will cost at least £50/person but in most cases more. Adding an event pass means adults will pay upwards of £139 each. However accommodation on site is available from £121 per person and of course cuts down your travel. To discuss prices and availability please call Haven on 0871 230 1911.
If you would like to purchase event passes please click here to select and buy. Once ordered event passes will be sent out by post in March, along with further information about attending the event.
