New Word Alive May 2011 Update

You will be my witnesses …. to the ends of the earth.

It was a great joy to gather together at NWA this year and hear of God's unstoppable plan to take his gospel to his world. Thank you for the many encouraging reports you have passed on to us. We're very grateful to God for his many provisions and blessings to us. And we pray that this year's event will continue to empower us to join in God's mission and to be witnesses wherever he has placed us.

I'm getting in touch to give news of our plans for next year. More details will follow in a few weeks but for now, here are the headlines.

New Word Alive 2012 – a new site and better dates!

We are delighted to announce that we have a new site secured for our 2012 event. We will be at the Pontins Holiday Park, Prestatyn Sands.

The Haven site at Pwllheli was unable to commit to having us next year due to the uncertainty of their plans. But we are very grateful to God for providing us with a new home – and a shorter journey! To see more information about the Pontins Prestatyn website.

We are also pleased that the dates for the event have moved by one day from those previously advertised. We will now start on Saturday 31st March 2012 (rather than the last day of the school term!) and finish on Thursday 5th April 2012, the day before Good Friday.

Speakers for NWA 2012

Our plans for the programme for 2012 are coming on really well. We trust it will once again be a programme that feeds and builds the church. We're thrilled to announce the following speakers:

Jonathan Lamb – Bible Readings

Jonathan is the Director of Langham Preaching and the Chair of Keswick Ministries. He is the author of several books including Integrity: leading with God watching and Godliness from head to toe.

Paul David Tripp

Paul is the president of Paul Tripp Ministries, whose mission statement is "Connecting the transforming power of Jesus Christ to everyday life." He has written many books including Instruments in a Redeemer's Hands.

Becky Manley-Pippert

Becky is the founder of the evangelism training organisation, Salt Shaker Ministries as well as the author of the best selling Out of the Saltshaker.

Richard Pratt

Richard is the President of Third Millennium Ministries (www.thirdmill.org) which exists to provide “Biblical education, for the world, for free.” He has spent many years teaching the Old Testament in different colleges and contexts and is the author of a number of books including He gave us stories.

Booking for NWA 2012

We are presently putting the finishing touches to the brochure for next year. We hope that will be with you by mid-June, but it will also be available to download from our website prior to that. We are planning for bookings to open on 30th June 2011. You will be able to book both by phone and on-line. We will send you another email update in early June giving you more details on how to book and letting you know our website has been updated with next year's details.

The talks from this year's event are now available. This is a great opportunity to listen again to talks that you enjoyed or hear those sessions you couldn't get to at the event. Or if you, or others you know, couldn't make it this year, this is the chance not to miss out!

Our worship album from this year's event is also available to order from our on-line shop. Why not order one now and soon you can listen to some wonderful worship songs and remind yourself of NWA.
